CENTER FOR CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT
In 1989, Wikoff’s first continual improvement department was established, adopting a Total Quality Management approach. Over the years, the department has matured and expanded its vision to include not only oversight of the quality management system, but also training programs and employee safety while adopting other improvement methodologies such as lean and six sigma.
QUALITY POLICY
Wikoff Color Corporation will meet or exceed internal and external customer product and service expectations. This will be achieved by continually improving our processes through team work among our people, vendors and customers.
LEAN PRINCIPLES IMPLEMENTATION
As our primary improvement methodology, employees across the company are educated on the philosophy of lean thinking and the tools to eliminate waste. Lean principles continue to be applied in all areas of our business.
SIX SIGMA
Trained Black Belts and Green Belts work in teams to improve processes and reduce defects as projects are identified through the company’s strategic deployment plan. Often these projects use a combination of Lean and Six Sigma tools.
