• Wikoff Color was founded in 1956 when Fred C. Wikoff, Jr. recognized two important needs in the printing industry: tailor-made inks to maximize pressroom efficiencies and a highly technical, service oriented approach to ink making. Although technology in the industry has evolved tremendously over the years, these two needs have remained constant. Since 1956, we have innovatively met our customers’ needs both on and off the press. Our product lines run the gamut of the major printing processes: litho, flexo, gravure and digital as well as functional coatings, energy curable products and specialty items. Printing is a challenging business, and print buyers are demanding. That is why we develop an ongoing, consultative relationship with our customers – helping them solve problems, gain advantages over their competitors and become more profitable.

  • Employee ownership is a huge part of Wikoff’s culture and a large contributor to our success. Our employee owners are invested in the company’s performance and understand that customer satisfaction and consistently producing a quality product are key drivers to our success. There is a very strong alignment of the company’s objectives and employee objectives, which creates a greater level of focus on achieving our goals. When the company does well our employees do well—through gain sharing programs such as our ROA bonus plan, profit sharing retirement plan and, most significantly, ownership of company stock. Employee ownership is the glue that binds us all together.
